Last week we asked why it was Jesus had to die? This week we consider the broader question of why He had to come to earth at all? The two human appearances of Jesus on this planet are summarized in this way:

1.He came once to save

A. He saves by making a better purification (23)
B. He saves by making better representation (24)
C. He saves by making a better sacrifice (25-26)

2. He will come once to judge

A. Judgment follows death (27)
B. The judgment for Christians fell on Christ (28a)
C. The judgment for everyone else will be finalized when Christ comes (28b)
