Part One: David is set aside by God to be King of Israel

THE PSALM
Main Idea: Christian, whenever you are suffering because of your faithfulness to God, put all your confidence in the God of the universe who always does what he promises and purposes to do no matter what prideful fools try to stand in his way.

1. Turn to God (v1-2)
2. Argue God’s promises and purposes to God (v3-10)
3. Concern yourself with the glory of God (v11-13)
4 . Worship God for who he is and what he has done (v14-17)
