i. He strengthens his own

ii. He confounds their enemies

2) God actively calls his people to himself (12.7-13.1)

A. He produces repentance and faith in them (12.10/13.1)

B. He exposes falsehood to them

i. Idols are removed and forgotten (13.2-3)

ii. False teachers are exposed (13.4-6)

3) God actively sacrifices his son for his people (13.7-9)
