Fellowship Opportunities
There are a number of ways for non-members and members to get involved in each other's lives.
Foundations Classes
Topical classes cover subjects like the doctrines of grace, elements of a worship service, singleness and dating, and many more. They run throughout the year on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights.
Fellowship Nights
A few times throughout the year, the men or women will gather on a Sunday night to foster friendship, encourage mentorship, and open discussions about topics related to their role in the family and church.
Member Groups
All members are invited to join a local group of believers who meet during the week to discuss the sermon application questions and pray for one another.
Honouring One Another by Serving Together
One of the primary ways we develop deeper relationships is by serving together. Each member is encouraged to join a ministry team, both to support the work of the church and to help them connect in meaningful ways with the people around them.
Here are some of our ministries:
The HOST Team helps welcome and find seating for people, and supports the logistical needs of our services through giving parking directions, providing security, and distributing bulletins.
The Meals Ministry provides a few home-cooked or delivered meals each week for new parents or other members who are in need.
The Nursing Home Ministry spends an hour at a local long-term care home on Saturdays, teaching, singing, and talking to residents about the gospel.
The Special Needs Team provides individualized one-to-one care to kids and adults who could use some extra assistance during our services.
The Sound, Livestream, and Music ministries exist to help people worship God distraction-free.
The Evangelism Ministry provides training and plans events to share the gospel with our neighbours and at a nearby college campus.
The Postings Ministry helps connect people who work in the same neighbourhood, and keeps track of job openings and rental options.
The Early Years, GraceKids, and GraceYouth Teams teach the Bible to our kids at age-appropriate levels.
The Pregnancy Care Centre First Response Team are trained volunteers who are connected to clients from our local Pregnancy Care Centre who desire to come to church.
